SDD (Spec-Driven Development)
Definition
Spec-Driven Development is the discipline CoreStory extends into Spec-Driven Operations: specs drive workflows, workflows drive infrastructure/runtime orchestration, agents execute against governed context, and operational state feeds back into the semantic layer.
Key properties
- Bounded knowledge domain: audience = product, engineering, AI agents, implementation workflows
- Contains: specs, workflow semantics, execution contracts, implementation lifecycle, validation semantics
- Classification: hybrid public/internal
- Extends beyond classic SDD toward operations: infra/runtime orchestration driven by specs
